Unforgetable California Vacation

Dan and Polly took us all on a unforgetable trip to California for Christmas. We got to enjoy Disneyland, Seaworld, California Adventure, and the beautiful Newport Beach. Our Condo was amazing, with four pools 2 hot tubs and a awesome ocean view. I feel so fortunate to have gone on this trip with all my Future in laws. I made many wonderful memories and took tons of memoriable pictures. Thank you so much Dan and Polly for taking me on such a fun vacation!

THE BEACH!

We went to Newport Beach. It was so beautiful there. I enjoyed the high 80's weather. The kids loved playing in the ocean and in the sand. They also liked feeding the birds and looking for sea shells. Brian and Gabe built them sand castles. I enjoyed laying on the beach and walking along the ocean and having the sand between my toes. The waves sounded amazing and the ocean breeze was wonderful. We went on a bike ride down the board walk and hopped on the fairy to an island and rode bikes there. I had never done that before. It was a neat experience and a lot of fun. We also walked on the pier and enjoyed the beautiful view. We saw a man with parrots and he let us hold them. I loved the baby parrot the most. It just laid in my hand and stared at me. It almost didn't look real. I really loved taking pictures on the beach. The sunsets over the ocean were breathtaking. SEAWORLD!

We went to Seaworld, it was my first time there. IT was a lot of fun going to the different animal shows. We went to the Seal Show, Dolphin Show, and best of all the Shamu show. They all were very fun to watch. We also looked at the penguins, sharks, fish, flamingos, and starfish. We went to a 3D Elmo movie, which was very cute. We also went on a fun water ride that got us soaked! The kids loved all the animals. I really enjoyed my first visit to Seaworld.

DISNEYLAND!

We went to Disneyland, it was my very first time there. We had such a blast! I was just as excited as the kids were, enjoying every minute of it. We went on really fun rides. My favorite ride was Space Mountain. I'm not even a big fan of roller coasters, but I loved this one because it was in the dark. It was so much fun that we rode it twice! I also really liked Pirates of the Caribbean. Everything was so life like on that ride. We rode Splash Mountain at the end and got soaking wet. It was tons of fun! All the adults even rode all the kiddie rides because they were all so fun. We went into Toon Town. That place is really neat. We got to go in all the characters houses and the kids got to meet some of the characters, and I did too:) Danny loved the characters and the attention he got from them. It was so cute! The girls all dresses up as princesses for Disneyland. Afterwards we ate at Rainforest Cafe. That place is so neat, and it was really good food. It was so cute when it started to thunder and Brylee really thought it was going to rain on her. All the kids fell asleep during dinner from a long fun day at Disneyland.

Christmas in St. George

We went to St. George the weekend of Christmas to spent it with Rhett's mom, sisters, and Grandpa and Grandma (My future in-laws!). We had so much fun, as you can see by all the pictures. I'm so glad we got to see everyone and spend Christmas with the kids. Brylee and Danny had so fun opening their presents and playing. Their faces were lit up the entire time. Rhett enjoyed playing with Brylee in her tent, he even fell asleep in it :) Dana made yummy gingerbread cookies and rolls. Kathy made delicious food and egg nog. And Grandma Kay brought a really good ham for us to eat. Kathy bought us all matching Christmas PJ's to wear, Thanks Kathy! We had the best time there! I love all of you and love spending time with the family.

Christmas Day 2008

Christmas 2008 was one I will never forget. First I opened my kitchen aid mixer, which I love and can't wait to use all the time! THANKS babe! Then I opened my gift in my stocking, and in it was the most gorgeous engagement ring!! Rhett did an amazing job picking it out. I absolutely loved it! I was in shock and couldn't believe it, it was a total surprise. It was the happiest moment of my life. I Can't wait to marry the love of my life and to officially be apart of an amazing family!! We then went over to Rhett's Dad's house to spent Christmas with them. We had a delicious meal and lots of fun visiting. It was a wonderful Christmas!
